I discovered a new blog.  It’s all about color palettes and I’m in love with it.  You have been warned.

First of all:  I now have 1000 followers.  Let me just be flabbergasted and amazed and honored and kind of dorky about that.  I keep trying to come up with some sort of SOMETHING for that, but I have no idea what it would be.  Well, I have a few ideas.  7 ideas.  All right, four. That’ll come up when we’ve ordered more supplies, though ^_^

For today, though, you get this.  Last night, I pulled out some more of that MCN and decided to experiment. There’s two new things in this skein, small though it is: 1. I tried plying with thread (which I quite like) and 2. I tried adding beads, which I also quite like though I need to really work on when it comes to spreading them out a bit more.  They’re in, like, a 10 yard span of the yarn because I didn’t realize how much of the wool single I had left and what LOOKS like a large quantity of beads is really not that large once you get going.  It also took me a few tries to really get a method for popping the beads in going, but now that I know, I think it should be a lot of fun to spin with them in.  It came out to about 38 yards, but I have half the roving left and it might all get done like this because PRETTY!
